Ha Tinh
Ha Tinh province is located in the North Central of Vietnam. It borders Nghe An province to the North; Quang Binh province to the South; the East sea to the East; Laos PDR to the West.

- Convenient road and air traffic:
+Convenient traffic: The North and the South is connected by National Highway 1A, Ho Chi Minh road, railways and sea routes; connecting with Laos People’s Democratic Republic and Thailand by Highway 8, Highway 12. Ha Tinh has not had an airport yet but there are 02 national airports in its two poles, Vinh Airport and Dong Hoi Airport, 45 – 55 minute –driving away from Ha Tinh.
- Heavy industrial zone specialized in manufacturing electricity and steel of high quality.
- 02 economic zones, 07 industrial parks and 21 industrial clusters with a total area of over 79,000 hectares.
Ha Tinh has 01 university, 04 colleges, 06 intermediate schools and 24 vocational training centers. More than 20,000 labour are trained annually. The rate of trained labour reaches 70%.

The average economic growth rate averaged nearly 6% in the 2016-2020 period. Economic structure shifts in a positive direction, agriculture sector accounts for 12.9%, industry - construction sectors account for 45.8%, service sector accounts for 41.3%.
Up to present, the whole province has more than 9,000 enterprises, over 1,440 investment projects domestically and abroad with the total registered capital of over VND 435,380 billion, equivalent to approximately USD 18.9 billion; it is ranked nationwide as the 9th largest province in attracting foreign investment with 76 FDI projects with total investment of nearly USD 123.8 billion.
Fields for investment encouragement Industrial sectors: Investing in supporting services for iron-steel industry; manufacturing products from steel, mechanical machinery engineering such as equipments, transportation vehicles, devices, office and household equipments. -Infrastructure sectors: Direct investments or BOT, BT, PPP in infrastructure of economic, industrial zones, hospitals; education, professional training facilities. - Commercial, services sector: Investing in building wholesale markets, commercial centers, high-standard hotels, eco-tourism areas. - Agricultural sectors: Investing in projects of planting, feeding and processing agriculture, forest, oceanic and underwater products; fresh agriculture production, organic agriculture production, high-technology implementation. - Environmental sectors: Encouraging to invest in the solid, water waste treatment investments in rural areas and Vung Ang Economical Zone.
